The purpose of this site is to provide new information and photographs on native plants of the Mid-South, those featured in my book, Gardening with the Native Plants of Tennessee: The Spirit of Place, as well as additional native plants that could/should be in such a book. Those who have the book will now be able to access the latest information to keep it current and accurate. I plan to update this site regularly depending on what new info/photos I have to offer. This is just the beginning.

If you are already familiar with the book, you'll want to concentrate on the News & Photos and Second Edition pages to learn more about some of the wonderful native plants you can grow in your garden.
